Great instruction, useful for beginners

I started with the Shotokan Karate course a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure what to expect from online training, but the instructors were really good. The step-by-step breakdowns for the katas were helpful. I also bought one of their martial arts uniforms, and it arrived in about 6 days, which was fine. Submitting the video for my first rank test was straightforward through their portal. I had a question about a specific move, and their support team replied within a day with a clear explanation. It's a solid platform for learning if you can't get to a local dojo.

Good online Taekwondo course

I signed up for the Taekwondo course last month. The videos were clear and easy to follow. I submitted my first grading video and got feedback pretty quick. It's a good way to learn at home.

Is the Black Friday sale usually for new students only or renewals too?

N NehaGupta 1 month ago
I got a new student discount then, but saw some renewal offers later. They usually have different codes.

Last year it was for both, I think. I renewed my annual BJJ subscription with a BF code.

How do I submit my grading video for the Taekwondo course?

D DeepaRao 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
There should be a section in your course dashboard. Look for something like 'Video Submission' or 'Rank Testing'. You upload it there.

My Bo Staff course videos aren't loading. Anyone else experiencing this?

P PoojaMishra 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Try clearing your browser cache. That usually fixes it for me on their site.

Are the uniforms they sell true to size? Thinking of getting one for my son's youth program.

R RaviShankar 4 weeks ago
I found them to run a bit small. My daughter usually wears a 8 but we had to get a 10 for it to fit right.

A AnuMalhotra 4 weeks ago
Thanks, good to know! I'll order a size up then.

D DivyaSharma 4 weeks ago
They have a size chart, did you check that? Always best to measure.

I saw it, but real-world experience helps more. Thanks though.

My instructor certification hasn't arrived yet, been over a month. Anyone else waiting?

P PreetiSingh 3 weeks ago
Did you get an email confirmation it was shipped? If not, definitely contact them.

I did get a confirmation, just no tracking. Guess I'll wait a bit longer.

Mine took about 6 weeks. They send it out via standard mail, so it can be slow.

My Combat Strong subscription keeps billing me even after I cancelled it. What do I do?

M ManishJoshi 1 month ago
Did you cancel it through your account settings or just email them? Sometimes it needs to be done on the site.

Through the account settings. Still got charged.

Thinking of signing up for the Krav Maga course. Is the intro offer for new students automatically applied, or do I need a code or something?

C Carly 3 months ago
AFAIK, the annual plan discounts apply automatically, but for the new student first month deals, you usually gotta punch in a promo code at checkout. They'll probably send it to you or have it on the site somewhere.
3
D Daisy 3 months ago
Yeah, I signed up last month for the Taekwondo and had to use a code. It wasn't hard to find though, they had it right on the landing page for new sign-ups.
